Scientific Days of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Prof. Dr. Matei Balș”

Dear colleagues,

It is with great joy and honor that we invite you to join us for a new edition of our flagship event, the Scientific Days of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Prof. Dr. Matei Balș”. We are proud and enthusiastic to carry forward this valuable tradition, dedicated to patient-centered care, progress, and innovation in the field of infectious diseases.

Now in its 21st edition, the event has grown into much more than a conference: it brings together the latest scientific findings and research in the field of infectious diseases, while also highlighting the important work carried out by our institute. Our aim is to create an open forum for all professionals involved in the management of infectious diseases, including colleagues from related specialties who care for patients with such diseases.

I am honored to announce that, once again this year, we will welcome distinguished international guests—renowned experts in the field of infectious diseases, with a focus on HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and other „hot” topics. Their expertise will enrich the discussions and provide valuable insights on current challenges and solutions.

We hope this year’s edition will provide a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, strengthen professional ties, and foster new collaborations, all contributing to the ongoing advancement of medical practice in infectious diseases.

We look forward to warmly welcoming you and sharing this journey of knowledge and collaboration together!

Sincerely,

Prof. Univ. Dr.
Anca Streinu-Cercel
